Ealing Carers Partnership – Carers Cafe

Ealing Carers Partnership is reaching out to unpaid carers who may need carers respite or may want to take part in well-being activities that will be delivered via monthly Carers Cafes throughout Ealing. Help us to shape the service that works best for carers.

HostNation befriending

We are looking for compassionate, friendly people in the Borough of Ealing who can spare a few hours a week to befriend a refugee over a three month period – be a friendly face, check in on them, have conversations so they can practise their English, show them the area, help them explore British culture and way of life. We do the introductions and support the relationship during this time.

Ealing Anchor Foundation supporting parents and carers

We need volunteers for play sessions, fundraising events, administration and to become trustees.

Workshop facilitators needed for children’s climate action campaign

We are looking for people who are knowledgeable about climate change (and related environmental/sustainability issues), keen to share their knowledge with others, and are able to inspire children to inspire their families to reduce their carbon footprints.

Help us with our allotment site makeover – no skills required, you’ll be learning on the job!

Garden DIY – building raised beds, growing frames, maybe even a gazebo!

Garden maintenance – weeding, clearing, hedge cutting, wood chipping.

Ealing Book Festival

We need help with organising the festival, so if you have any skills in marketing, IT, leaflet dropping. It would be great to hear from you.

We will need volunteers with great interpersonal skills over the festival weekend to ensure that events are managed safely and our audiences have a great experience. We are also looking for sound engineers to ensure that our audiences can hear our speakers.

FoodCycle Acton – Acton Gardens Community Centre

We are looking for cooking volunteers to help us cook our meals. You don’t need any previous experience and there is no minimum commitment, meaning you can volunteer as little or as often as you like!

Asian Community Concern C.I.C.

We rely on grants, funds, crowdfunding, donations, partners and contact with collaborators.

Ealing Youth Justice Service volunteer opportunities

Youth Justice Service volunteers come from many backgrounds, with a wide variety of life experience. It is very rewarding to help children develop and grow and appreciate they are part of a supportive community.

Volunteers are provided with full training and development opportunities.
