Our project is to establish an annual Ealing Book festival which celebrates storytelling, literature and reading for pleasure. We want to support and develop readers and writers of all ages and demographics across the Borough, running reading and writing-related events and activities of interest to as wide an audience as possible.

Our programme will feature nationally renowned authors, well-known local writers, engaging panel discussions, book signings and exciting activities for all ages.

In order to finance the festival we will be working to attract sponsorship from local businesses and will be applying for grants. If you have any experience in fund raising or if you are a local business who would like to sponsor an event or a specific activity we would love to hear from you.

Behind the Scenes, we need help with organising the festival, so if you have any skills in marketing, IT, leaflet dropping. It would be great to hear from you.

We will need volunteers with great interpersonal skills over the festival weekend to ensure that events are managed safely and our audiences have a great experience. We are also looking for sound engineers to ensure that our audiences can hear our speakers.
