Ealing Anchor Foundation supporting parents and carers

Ongoing Project

Ealing Anchor Foundation is a charity providing information, support and advice to parents and carers of children aged 0-5 years, who are differently abled and living in the London Borough of Ealing.

We provide a space where families can come together during the early stages, at a critical time when worries and concerns about their child’s developmental needs are emerging.

We provide an extensive level of support, irrespective of the child’s impairment or level of need and welcome siblings, children who are home schooled, in transition or have been excluded from nursery or school and/or awaiting diagnosis.

We need volunteers:

Play Sessions:

  • To work with children with disabilities, between the ages of 0 years and 5 years.
  • Help and encourage children to take part in activities appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Participate with the children in activities during the play & support sessions.
  • Helping to set up and clear away equipment, before, after and during the session.
  • Talk to the parents to make sure they feel part of the group.

Fundraising Events & Administration

  • We also need volunteers to help with fundraising events and in the admin office.

Trustees

  • We are looking for trustees to utilise their skills in assisting with the efficient running of the organisation.
