Middlesex Association for the Blind (MAB) is a sight loss charity operating in 9 London boroughs (Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Enfield, Harrow, Haringey. Hillingdon, Hounslow, Richmond). Our support workers and volunteers support people in their homes through our Home Visiting Service (support ranges from befriending through to reading mail or accessing the community. No personal care, nor cooking or cleaning). We also have Counselling, Employment, Braille, and advice services. We are agents for the British Wireless for the Blind Fund and run a Mobile Resource Unit through which we showcase specialist equipment and offer advice on sight loss management. We run social clubs in several of our boroughs (a monthly coffee morning in Ealing and a seasonal monthly trike club (March to November, weather permitting).
