GoodGym helps you get fit by doing good. We’re a group of volunteers that combines regular exercise with helping our communities. The motivation to do something good in your community will make you lace up your trainers and make your exercise count!

We get fit by doing good in the following three ways:

  • We complete missions where we run walk or jog to help older people with one-off tasks they can no longer do alone. This includes things such as clearing gardens, changing light bulbs or moving furniture.
  • We complete coach visits where we run walk or jog to make social visits to older people who we call our ‘coaches’ because they motivate us to keep going
  • And finally we move in groups to do physical tasks to help community groups, local causes and charities.



Volunteering with GoodGym is as rewarding for you as it is for the individual, charity or organisation that you are helping.
