Do you want to help shape the future of your town?

Join the conversation this summer to talk about your town's future and share what is important to you in your local area.

  • Would you like to help design solutions to local problems with your community and the council? What would help you get involved in the things that matter to you most where you live?

As these conversations continue your communities and the council will learn together the best ways to create thriving and vibrant neighbourhoods.

These conversations can happen in many different ways, at different times of the day and in different places. Everyone should feel their voice is listened to.

You could fill in our survey, or conversations could take place in person or as part of an online event. Someone from the council could come along to a regular coffee morning, to a community meeting or activity, or you could ask the council to plan an event at your place of worship or through a club or society you are already a part of.

Let us know what works best for you, where and when you feel comfortable saying what you want to see in your area.

  • Why are we doing this?

Ealing is a diverse borough, with people from many different backgrounds, with different circumstances and experiences of getting involved in their local community. There are times, places and types of conversations that suit some people more than others.

This is just the start where we can learn what works best for you, your family, your neighbours and others in your community and how we can support you to get more involved if you want to be more active in your community.

Over this coming autumn and winter, we’ll use what we’ve learned from this survey to develop and test ideas with you and your communities and see what is most effective to help shape your towns into the type of places you want them to be.

You can take part by completing a short survey, by coming to one of the events below to chat with us in person, or you can get in touch with suggestions of other opportunities coming up before 10 November.

Take the survey

Take part in a short survey which asks for your thoughts on how you currently get involved to improve your local area, how you would like to be involved in the future, what would need to happen to make that possible, and what would you want to change about your area.

Please complete the short survey by 10 November 2023.

If you need a printed copy of the survey, please email the request to dosomethinggood@ealing.gov.uk

Your Voice Your Town – Events

You may prefer to have a chat with us in person. We hope to hear from you and many of your neighbours about your own experiences of living in your area and your ideas about how we can work together to create thriving communities at one of our in-person workshops, or through a ‘survey and chat’ session.

To reserve your place at an in-person workshop, please send an email to dosomethinggood@ealing.gov.uk

You can just turn up for a ‘survey and chat’ session, no reservation is required.

If you want to get in touch with suggestions of other opportunities coming up before 10 November, please send an email to dosomethinggood@ealing.gov.uk
