Wood End Wireless Community Orchard

12 March 2016

Ealing, Northolt

Trees for Cities is working in partnership with Ealing council to create a new community orchard for Wood End Wireless recreation ground.

We will be planting 50 mixed variety apple trees as a traditional orchard. The species includes apples good for cooking, eating and making cider.

We are also offering free community training in fruit tree maintenance. You can sign up via our blog here:

We would love to invite local people to come down and help plant the trees on our community planting day.

Saturday 12th March, 11am - 3pm.

Our planting team will guide you in how to plant the trees and we will provide free hot drinks and refreshments. This will be a free family event with face painting, a live band and arts and crafts!
