There are many ways you can do something good in your neighbourhood and stay active at the same time.
From joining a group of GoodGym runners and combining exercise with helping out neighbors and local projects, or earning rewards with BetterPoints for litter picking whilst enjoying a walk or jog in the park.
There are also a range of supporting events you can also get involved with and support. You could help residents to get moving by volunteering at events such as the weekly park runs or Ealing Half Marathon.
Many people find that building activity into their daily routine, such as getting to and from work or school, is a good way of getting enough exercise; and there is already lots of support available to help you start cycling or walking. More people walking and cycling is also good for the environment and helps improve air quality and health for local people.
