Looking for funding for your idea or project can be a difficult and time-consuming task. Funding comes in all shapes and sizes including government grants, charitable organisations or crowdfunding websites. Many of the funding streams we have highlighted are targeting projects in the London Borough of Ealing.

  • National Lottery - Good Causes

    There are currently 12 Lottery funders who independently decide which projects have successfully applied for a grant. The grant provided is dependent on the project, varying from £0 to more than £500,0000.


  • Garfield Weston Foundation

    Date(s): Ongoing

    The Garfield Weston Foundation appreciates how challenging it is for charities to raise funds and aims to keep the process of applying uncomplicated with a one-stage application. They have two main streams of activity: Major grants £100,000 and above and regular grants of £1,000 to £9,999.
     


  • Main Grants Scheme - Biffa Award

    The Biffa Award's main grants scheme is a competitive programme. Under this scheme, they look to award grants to projects that provide or improve biodiversity, community spaces, cultural facilities, and places for outdoor recreation.


  • B&Q Waste Donations

    Type: Grant
    Date(s): Ongoing

    B&Q offer community groups, including schools, items which they deem unsaleable, such as dented tins of paint, timber off cuts, and broken tiles. 
     


  • Heathrow Community Fund Logo

    Communities for Tomorrow - Heathrow Community Fund

    Heathrow Community Fund is part of an independent grant-making charity, set up in 1996 to support and strengthen local communities close to Heathrow Airport. One of the grant programmes available to fund seekers in Ealing is the Communities for Tomorrow with grants of up to £25,000.

    Reaching Communities Grants provide more than £10,000. Grants are available for projects which encourage voluntary and community organisations to identify their own local ideas for funding. 


  • Big Community Wildlife

    The Big Community Wildlife provide grants from between £300 to over £10,000 to organisations for local people to discover, enjoy or protect the wildlife in their local area.

    BBC Children in Need's small grants are under £10,000 for up to 3 years and their main grants are over £10,000 for up to 3 years. The grants are for organisations supporting disadvantaged children and young people, aged 18 and under, in the UK.
