Norwood Green ward forum have put £500 into a community chest as a pilot scheme to support local residents to start-up projects that help build:
- trust between your neighbours and/or
- pride in your local area
The Norwood Green’s Community Chest Fund is available for any resident of Norwood Green ward to apply for up to a maximum of £50 per person. (If you are under 18 your parent, carer or guardian will have to sign the declaration on your behalf.)
The scheme is being relaunched at the Norwood Green ward forum13 September 2018. It was originally launched at the Norwood Green ward forum on 8 February 2018.
Residents are invited to go to the Bubble website www.dosomethinggood.org.uk to download an application, fill out the form, sign, date and send it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by NOON on Friday 2 November 2018.
The Norwood Green ward forum councillors are familiar with the local area and the issues and concerns raised by residents at the ward forums and in their surgeries.
Building on this local knowledge and understanding they will assess the applications and then notify each applicant if they have been successful or not by NOON Friday 30 November.
The list of successful applicants will be published on here in December.
Any resident who is offered funding for a project that is outdoors will be asked to provide evidence that the landowners and neighbours consent to the project as set out in the application form.
All projects will need to be delivered by 31 March 2019.
Any resident in receipt of funding will be required to
Provide receipts of the items bought to deliver their project
Take a photograph of their project and send it to email@example.com so it can be posted on Bubble
Ask people who are in the photo to give their written consent for their picture to be used on Bubble and any printed media
After the project has been completed to do a case study about their project to be posted on Bubble (the community management co-ordinator will help you do this)
